Unheated (natural) sapphires are those that have not undergone any artificial heat treatment to enhance their color, meaning this stone's distinct light green hue has not been altered. The elongated oval brilliant cut is chosen for its ability to enhance the appearance of size and create a graceful, flowing look while also enhancing the stones sparkle.
